The first year core focuses on normal aspects of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, including normal variations, as well as some basic deviations as they relate to identifying and managing normalcy. She began teaching Infancy classes twenty years ago only to then become a student, a graduate, a midwife, and now the Birthingway Midwifery Program Coordinator. She also teaches Postpartum Skills, Prenatal Skills and Infancy, and is a clinical training preceptor for midwifery students.
